During my time at the University of Nevada, Reno, I worked on Donor Duel. I led a team of students to create a year-long integrated marketing campaign for Nevada Donor Network and Donor Network West. This campaign targeted college students and their supporting communities to drive a 5% increase of organ donors in the state of Nevada.
My team and I were asked to create a fully usable campaign, complete with creative materials and marketing materials. We took the client’s idea to make a battle between UNR and UNLV and expand it to a year-long rivalry based on dates where the schools’ sports teams played each other. Nevada Donor Network would choose a winner based on which school had the most organ donation signups.
I served as the liaison between my team and the client. This included asking followup and clarifying questions to ensure we fulfilled the client’s needs. I also delegated tasks to team members based on strengths in order to meet deadlines on time. Moreover, I made visual elements for the campaign, including a logo for Donor Duel.
