Description:

Enriching FedTech’s LinkedIn Presence through Social Media Strategy

Problem: FedTech, an entrepreneur-building service contracted by federal agencies and corporations alike, needed to grow its social media network to develop a healthy pipeline of aspiring business owners and deep tech ventures. However, it struggled to show its value-add to prospective entrepreneurs through subject-matter expertise and relevant content.

Solution: Working with leadership, colleagues, and market research, I developed a social strategy that incorporated promotional posts, thought leadership, and involvement of FedTech’s alumni network to show the benefits of participating. I also developed relationships and supported clients in creating content of their own to cross-promote, using both FedTech’s and their audiences combined to raise awareness of our joint programs.

Over the course of my time at FedTech, I raised the company’s LinkedIn followers by 35% and page visits by 126%.

This plan also leveraged paid media for program recruitment to meet goals that would ultimately benefit our clients. FedTech’s average clickthrough rate was about 1.7% across all of its campaigns through my copywriting, graphic design, audience selection, and multivariate testing.
